Antidote

About

Antidote is presented as a concert and freak-cabaret concert by Dakh Daughters within the Prague Crossroads Festival. The seven-member female group combines music, poetry and theatre, performing on various instruments and singing in several languages and dialects. The production responds to propaganda, lies and current political threats, turning Ukrainian poetry into songs and presenting performative concerts as political acts. The credited team includes Vlad Troitskyi, director; Anton Ocheretianyi, sound; Astchik Hryhorjan, lighting; Astkhik Hryhorian, video and subtitles; Viktoriia Fedoriv, management; and Iryna Gorban, art manager of Dakh Daughters. The performance is in Ukrainian, English, German and French, with Czech surtitles.
