Rêverie

About

This concert, titled "Rêverie," draws inspiration from a quotation by Gabriel Fauré describing his quartet as "a vague reverie that ... would be literally untranslatable." The production explores how intense emotions and inner turmoil can be conveyed through a harmonious musical language. The program brings together three major composers—Fauré, Schumann, and Franck—around the theme of expressing the inexpressible. The event is part of La Cité Bleue’s "Les Constellations" season and takes place at the Villa Louis-Jeantet. A distinctive feature is an after-concert exchange where the audience can ask the artists questions.
