Arirang

About

Arirang is a Korean original musical produced by Seensee Musical Company, adapted by Go Sun-woong from Jo Jung-rae’s twelve-volume epic novel. Composer Kim Dae-sung’s score supports a two-and-a-half-hour staged work (including a twenty-minute intermission) that focuses on the family of Gamgol-daek and dramatizes the early, 1920s portion of the saga. The premiere run took place at LG Arts Center, Seoul, in the summer of 2015.
