Part of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen’s monthly Aperitiefconcerten chamber series, this concert offers an intimate and relaxed experience in which singers and members of the house orchestra present chamber programs, alternating major repertoire with rarely performed works and rediscovered gems. Audiences are invited to meet and chat with the musicians after the performance, with one drink included in the ticket price. For this program the focus is entirely on the wind section of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Symphony Orchestra. Under the baton of maestro Stephan Zilias, the ensemble explores a dynamic, rhythmically vital program that highlights swinging rhythms, monumental harmonies, and surprising timbres across 20th‑century works for winds and brass.
