The operatic version of the famous fairy-tale by French writer Charles Perrault was created by one of the most important contemporary composers, Jiří Teml, who regularly writes works for children. Besides a number of compositions for children, he has written two other fairy-tale operas: The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Devil and Kate.
