This concert is part of the “La nuit · Le TOUR,” promoting Mathilde’s second album, “La nuit · Le jour,” released in 2024. The production highlights a voice that soars in moments of intensity, carrying the many commitments of an artist firmly aligned with society’s unseen and overlooked. The artistic approach blends pop accents with an accessible lightness while maintaining a strong activist and feminist dimension (the #MeToo generation). A distinctive and unique feature of this production is its commitment to accessibility. A French Sign Language (LSF) interpreter, Christelle, has accompanied Mathilde since 2017 as part of a broad project to make song accessible to Deaf audiences. Christelle led a team of Deaf collaborators and interpreters to adapt the entirety of Mathilde’s repertoire. As a chansigneuse (sign-singing artist), she is an integral part of the stage creation, going far beyond simple translation to deliver a truly visual and inclusive performance.
