This production of 'Fedeli d’amore' is a world premiere commissioned by the Fondazione Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi di Trieste for 2025. The work is described as lyric scenes for soloists, choir, and orchestra, drawing inspiration from the figures and thoughts of Carlo Michelstaedter and Claudio Magris. The staging features a 'mise en espace' by the artistic collective Anagoor, known for their visually striking and conceptually deep theatrical works. The production is directed by Simone Derai, with direction assistance and project supervision by Luca Altavilla and Marco Menegoni. It represents a significant collaboration between the Teatro Verdi di Trieste and the Go! 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia European Capital of Culture initiative. The performance in Gorizia is set in the unique industrial atmosphere of the “Amedeo Duca d’Aosta” Airport Hangar, emphasizing the site-specific nature of this premiere.
