Farbenspiele presents a program of contemporary chamber music performed by Ensemble N at the Vienna venue Alte Schmiede. The production focuses on the sonic diversity and the “colors” of modern composition, highlighting works by a young generation of composers. The lineup shifts from piece to piece within the ensemble, which includes flute, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano. Ensemble N’s artistic vision is to convey current musical currents in an intimate setting. As a long-standing home for literature and music, Alte Schmiede provides an acoustic and atmospheric context that enables direct encounters between performers and audience.
