As part of the Swiss premiere, Rob Laidlow's work Exoplanets allows the sound of fascinating celestial bodies to be discovered in an audiovisual performance. Exoplanets are extreme places: massive, serene, haunting, ancient and fantastical. The orchestra is treated as a cosmic experiment in which original sounds, structures, harmonies and textures are developed on the basis of these exoplanets. Artificial intelligence is also used in this creative process to break radically new ground. In cooperation with and as part of the Interfinity Festival.
