This single-work chamber concert takes place in the Rotunda of the Bourse du commerce alongside the exhibition “Corps et âmes.” Morton Feldman’s For Philip Guston is presented as a musical tribute to the American painter. The approximately four-hour score unfolds through fragile contemplation, subtle instrumental motifs and minute rhythmic variations. It is performed by Ensemble intercontemporain soloists Emmanuelle Ophèle on flute and Aurélien Gignoux on percussion, with Ninon Hannecart-Ségal on piano. The uninterrupted performance requires sustained concentration, mutual listening and intimacy of sound, creating a meditative experience for the audience.
