With TRADWIVES the musical, Club Satelliet brings its debut show to the stage. Club Satelliet longs for fresh, bold and innovative musicals. They make a powerful attempt to step out of their own bubble, seek out stories that are new even to them, and shape them into an in-your-face musical. The show is the first in the new Brand New Musicals concept, a collaboration between 26 theaters, Festival O., and NANOEK. This initiative will organize tours over the next four seasons for new Dutch musicals by emerging creators. The production mixes sharp satire with pulsing electropop music to yank the audience out of its comfort zone.
