Mr. Coats

About

Mr. Coats is a new family ballet by Dutch National Ballet for children aged 4 and up, inspired by Sieb Posthuma’s beloved picture book Mannetje Jas (Mr. Coats). Choreographer and stage director Wubkje Kuindersma creates a warm, imaginative world in Studio Boekman where coats come to life and kindness takes center stage. The production features an original score by Anthony Fiumara and live onstage cello performed by Maya Fridman, with vibrant costumes by Oliver Haller and lighting by Wijnand van der Horst. Running time: approximately 40 minutes.
