About

MINIATURES is a contemporary ballet program built from short choreographic responses to contemporary music. The music was not originally written for dance, and the pieces present distinct musical worlds assembled into a single choreographic tableau. The 2026 program combines two works choreographed by Jean-Christophe Maillot with four works by Francesco Nappa, Jeroen Verbruggen, Julien Guérin, and Mimoza Koike. The production is presented by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo in co-production with Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo and with Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain. Bruno Mantovani conducts the ensemble.
