Menuet

About

A man, a woman, and a young girl share a house. The man spends his days in the company’s cold-storage cellar and collects newspaper clippings of all kinds of atrocities. His wife loses herself in the routines of running the household. The maid who assists her becomes the central figure of the man’s desires. This production is a collaboration between LOD muziektheater, the SPECTRA ensemble, and director Fabrice Murgia. Based on the work of Louis Paul Boon, it explores the human psyche and isolation within a domestic setting. The score by Daan Janssens is performed by SPECTRA under the baton of Filip Rathé.
