This dance-and-music program is built from choreographed musical miniatures that reflect the audible universe surrounding us. Like short stories, each piece has a strong identity and surprising depth, creating a dialogue between movement and sound. The musical axis runs through Astor Piazzolla’s nuevo tango, the enigmatic world of Erik Satie, and the meditative resonance of Arvo Pärt’s Mirror in the Mirror, complemented by Dvořák, Martinů, and Kabalevsky. A highlight is the world premiere of Índigo by Canarian composer Celia Rivero.
