L’Oreste. Quando i morti uccidono i vivi

At first glance, Oreste may seem like a monologue, since there is only one real actor on stage. But what awaits the spectator is something else: thanks to the hand of Andrea Bruno, one of the best Italian illustrators, and the collaboration with the Lucca Comics Festival, the show works with the continuous interaction between theater and animated comics: Oreste is constantly visited by his ghosts, by the visions of the desperate worlds that he cultivates within himself, as well as by doctors and nurses. Oreste's dreams transform the scenography and the classical dramatic theater into a kaleidoscope of presences that only the techniques of the "Graphic Novel Theater" make possible. Francis Niccolini
