This digital production showcases the talents of the young musicians participating in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra’s (RSPO) Orchestra Academy during the 2021/22 season. The Academy provides its musicians with extensive individual tuition from tutors who are predominantly leaders and principals of the RSPO. A vital component of this educational and artistic program is extensive chamber music playing, which culminates in performances such as this recorded concert. The production was filmed on 30 January 2022 and published online on 20 March 2022 as part of the Konserthuset Play digital catalogue. The concert, approximately 40 minutes long, offers a focused look at contemporary ensemble playing.
