This production is a special revival commissioned by the Sacrum Profanum Festival to celebrate the 85th birthday of Maestro Krzysztof Penderecki. The festival engaged Swedish saxophonist Mats Gustafsson and his Fire! Orchestra as the most fitting contemporary ensemble for this repertoire. The concert took place at the Museum of Municipal Engineering, located in Kraków’s oldest depot of horse-drawn and electric trams.
