Score is a large-scale orchestral and choral concert celebrating video game music as a genre on par with film music in scope and artistry. With the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra and Chorus led by Martyna Szymczak, the program brings grand arrangements from classic and contemporary game worlds to the Main Stage. Presenter and soloist Rickard Söderberg—opera star, TV personality, and avid gamer—guides audiences through iconic soundscapes from franchises like Final Fantasy, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario Galaxy.
