The Lord is my Shepherd is a concert production built around sacred and Psalm-related choral repertoire by Samuel Barber, John Rutter and Gerald Cohen, complemented by Malcolm Arnold's Serenade for Small Orchestra. The programme is presented in the following order: Agnus Dei, Rutter's Requiem, The Lord Bless You and Keep You, Cohen's Adonai Ro'i (Psalm 23), and Serenade for Small Orchestra, Op. 26. The performing forces are Carmela Konrad as soprano, the choir ars cantata zürich, the orchestra Camerata Cantabile, and Philipp Mestrinel as conductor. The documented concept is musical rather than staged, with no director, scenic design, costume design, lighting design, choreography or theatrical staging credited.
