Joyride the Musical is a feel-good musical built on the music of the legendary pop duo Roxette. Following its 2024 world premiere, the hit production returns to Malmo Opera in autumn 2026. The story offers a colorful, high-energy experience that weaves beloved hits together with contemporary musical-theatre staging. Directed by Guy Unsworth, the production features a visual world by set designer David Woodhead and costume designer Torbjorn Bergstrom. It is marked by brisk pacing, a large ensemble, and extensive video projections that amplify the pop aesthetic associated with Roxette.
