A site-specific, immersive staging of Adam Václav Michna z Otradovic’s Baroque masterpiece, this production of Loutna česká charts the human soul’s journey toward celestial harmony. Directed by Tomáš Ondřej Pilař, the work unfolds as a mystical allegory and a cleansing ritual, moving between intimate meditations and large-scale mass scenes. The performance culminates in a radiant wedding feast that symbolizes the soul’s union with perfect consonance. Presented outdoors at night in the Minorite Monastery in Jindřichův Hradec as part of the Jižní Svéráz 2026 festival, the production is intended for audiences 18+ and is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
