The production is a Uruguayan staging of Matilda: The Musical, presented by MAD and Box Theater Experience with the participation of the Orquesta Juvenil Nacional del Sodre. The official SODRE page describes more than fifty artists on stage. The production combines a large adult and child cast with live orchestral accompaniment. Nicolás Fernández is credited as general director and artistic director of Matilda, while Renzo Gatto is credited as producer and Firu Fernández as director and actor.
