About

A roaming work by choreographer Noé Soulier, Passages explores the relationship between the body’s movement and the spaces it traverses, here the public hall of the Auditorium. Drawing on a gesture vocabulary refined over years, the choreography harnesses practical actions whose energy is redirected toward absent or imaginary objects. The performers activate the acoustic and visual dimensions of the site, making its curves, volumes, and flows resonate. Built from reconfigurable modules, the piece adapts to widely different spatial typologies—vaults, corridors, lawns—and redeploys itself according to each location’s identity. In Dijon, the dancers inhabit the public areas of the Auditorium hall; the work requires neither stage, nor technical set-up, nor musical equipment.
