Belgian company Peeping Tom’s Diptych is a gripping two-part dance theatre evening that moves fluidly between dance and drama. Comprising The Missing Door by Gabriela Carrizo and The Lost Room by Franck Chartier, the work traps a group of people in a surreal, claustrophobic world where doors to escape seem perpetually locked. Themes of longing, disorientation, and the search for a way out unfold through Peeping Tom’s distinctive stage language and the exceptional presence of its dancers. Created through a dense, collaborative process led by Carrizo and Chartier, the production crafts a tense, cinematic atmosphere that is at once thrilling and unsettling. Presented on GöteborgsOperan’s Main Stage, the performance runs approximately 70 minutes, including a short seated pause.
