The Holodomor is a genocide of the Ukrainian nation, perpetrated by the Soviet leadership through an artificially created mass famine with the aim of destroying Ukrainians and finally eliminating their efforts to build an independent, independent state. The Holodomor spanned the period from April 1932 to November 1933. During these 17 months, more than 7 million people were killed in Ukraine and 3 million Ukrainians outside its borders. The memory of the Holodomor has become an integral part of the national memory of the Ukrainian people. The Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic invites you to the STABAT MATER concert. The event is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor. With: - Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra - Soloists: Honored Artist of Ukraine Fatima Cherhindzia, Anna Popova, Conductor - Honored Artist of Ukraine Serhiy Leonov.
