Heinrich Berte compiles "Das Dreimäderlhaus" from melodies by Franz Schubert to the libretto by Alfred Maria Willner and Heinz Reichert based on the novel "Schwammerl" by Rudolf Hans Bartsch. The work consists of 15 numbers with connecting dialogues. All musical numbers are composed of well-known works by Franz Schubert and slightly edited. The Singspiel in 3 acts was premiered on January 15, 1916 in the Raimund Theater in Vienna. After the extremely successful premiere, the work will soon be translated into 22 languages and performed in more than 60 countries.
