This is a concert presentation of John Blow's Baroque opera/pastorale by Le Banquet Céleste. The Opéra de Rennes event page classifies it as a concert and gives an approximate duration of 1h15. The defining production device is live illustration: Emma Bertin draws to illustrate the action, creating a parallel visual narrative alongside the singers and ensemble. The touring production uses historical instruments, voices, choral writing, dances and recitative. Damien Guillon is credited with directing the ensemble for the Brest performance, but this credit is not assigned to the Rennes performances.
