This production of Edmond Audran’s La poupée was part of the 1919–1920 season at the Opéra de Tours. An operetta in four acts, it follows the tradition of late 19th‑century French light opera. The staging was directed by Georges Chapuis with musical direction by Géo Moreau. The production formed part of the post–World War I revival of popular repertoire in regional French theatres.
