The 2008 Diversionary Theatre production of Corpus Christi was directed by Nic Arnzen. With the playwright’s permission, this staging used a mixed-gender cast, departing from the play’s traditional all-male ensemble and offering fresh interpretive possibilities. Arnzen also designed the scenic and sound elements, with Stephen Siercks providing lighting design, supporting the production’s contemporary perspective on McNally’s provocative text. Presented as part of Diversionary Theatre’s 2007–2008 season, the production aligned with the company’s LGBTQIA+ mission and community-focused programming.
