Invito alla danza is a mixed bill by the Ballet Company of the Teatro di San Carlo for the 2026/2027 season, uniting four choreographic works: three 20th‑century repertory pieces by Jerome Robbins, Uwe Scholz and Ben Stevenson, and a brand‑new creation by Jacopo Godani. The program features music by Fryderyk Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff. It opens with Robbins’s In the Night (1970), set to four Chopin Nocturnes, followed by Uwe Scholz’s abstract Suite n. 2. After the interval comes Ben Stevenson’s Three Preludes (1969) to Rachmaninoff, and the evening closes with a world‑premiere new creation by Jacopo Godani. The performances are danced by the Étoiles, Soloists and Corps de ballet of the Teatro di San Carlo. The run is scheduled for July 2027 and lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes including an intermission.
