“The Little Sea Maiden” (Den Lille Havfrue) is actually what Hans Christian Andersen called the fairy tale we know as “The Little Mermaid”. The writer said that this was the only one of his works that touched him. “We live for three hundred years, but when we end, we simply turn into sea foam.
