Swedish conductor Anton Holmer leads the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and French cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière makes his debut with the ensemble. A notable inclusion is Valborg Aulin’s Tableaux Parisiens, the composer’s only orchestral work, unperformed during her lifetime and now restored to the repertoire. The program culminates in Ravel’s Bolero, a majestic orchestral dance that builds in intensity.
