Passione was a special Lenten concert series produced by the Fondazione Teatro Carlo Felice in collaboration with the Presidency and the Department of Culture of the Liguria Region. The production inaugurated Liguria Musica, a working group created to develop musical activities and collaborations across the region's municipalities. Conceived as site-specific performances, the concerts brought the theater's artistic ensemble into significant places of spirituality and historical interest in Liguria, from Levante to Ponente. The program engaged with the themes of Holy Week and embraced the distinctive acoustics and spiritual character of three prominent churches: Chiesa del Gesù in Genoa, Concattedrale dei Santi Maurizio e Compagni Martiri in Imperia, and Cattedrale di Cristo Re in La Spezia. The series marked the debut of internationally renowned conductor George Petrou with the Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice and featured the young virtuoso violinist Giovanni Andrea Zanon.
