CEREMONY is a lyric concert produced as part of the second edition of the Leone Magiera Prize. The project brings together the musical direction of Leone Magiera and the artistic direction of Lorenzo Silvestri, curated by Kenny Alexander Laurence and Eloisa Magiera. The production stands out for the integration of different art forms, transforming the traditional concert into an immersive experience. The staging features a moving scenography adapted from Lorenzo Silvestri’s short film “Youth Youth Youth” (2024). The theatre space is further enriched by an installation created in collaboration with Alexander Benigni, while the foyer hosts paintings that extend the artistic experience beyond the stage. The musical program is structured like a playlist or themed compilation: selected operatic arias are arranged according to a specific thematic order, privileging tragic and solemn tones to reflect the idea of a “ceremony.”
