Reflections was the finale of the 2018/2019 Kirklees Concert Season, co-presented by Kirklees Council and Opera North. The concert marked the return of conductor Dalia Stasevska after her UK debut at the series in March 2018, ahead of her Leeds Town Hall debut. The programme explored themes of life, death, and farewell through Lutosławski’s Musique Funèbre, Strauss’s Four Last Songs, and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7, with orchestral colors ranging from small strings to solo horn and Wagner tubas.
