In his eleventh opera, the composer will rely on Cankar's novel Hiša Marija Pomočnice from 1904, which has inspired him for decades with its tragic longing and its mixture of Christian and ethical religious thought with a naturalistic critique of society. Stylistically, he predicts the continuation of his writing for the opera theater by including both traditional elements and more modernist approaches in the musical action, while trying to follow the textual design to perfection and also interpret it in terms of the musical superstructure of the dramatic course. The lineup includes seven singers and six instrumentalists (violin, flute, saxophone, trombone, accordion and percussion).
