'Shiraz' is a choreography for seven dancers, a fabric where movement and energy meet and transform on stage, a dance of rhythms, memories, and imagination. Its starting point is the Shiraz Arts Festival in Iran, an event that, between 1967 and 1977, brought together artists from around the world and interwove tradition with experimentation. Armin Hokmi revives its spirit, translating its sense of freedom and exploration through dance. More than an homage, 'Shiraz' is a new vision exploring the connection between dance and place, between gestures and history, between memory and invention. The dancers draw ever-evolving paths, bringing the past to the stage and reconfiguring it in the present. A shared act of movement, remembrance, and renewal.
