This is Opera Națională București's staging of Cornel Trăilescu's children's opera in three acts. The production team comprises director Gelu Colceag, stage designer Viaceslav Vutcariov, choreographer Roxana Colceag, and chorus masters Daniel Jinga and Adrian Ionescu. The opera was staged again at the National Opera in 2006, more than 40 years after its premiere, marking theatre director Gelu Colceag's debut in opera direction. The production uses dedicated scenography and choreography and is presented with the Opera's Orchestra, Chorus, Ballet, and students from Liceul de Coregrafie 'Floria Capsali'.
