Återskapa: Svenne is a newly created one‑act musical developed within the Göteborg Opera’s Återskapa (Recreate) initiative. In this programme, young participants create a new work inspired by themes from an existing production in the company’s repertoire—here in dialogue with Verdi’s Nabucco. The piece fuses dance, theatre and club music and brings about 35 performers of different ages and experiences to the stage. Artistic leadership by Saga Björklund Jönsson (music direction, composition and book) and Hanna Morau (manuscript/book, direction and choreography). Concept by Malin Aghed; costumes by Matilda Holmberg; lighting by Max Brogren; sound by Larry Geszti.
