About

A villa, an elevator, upstairs - two rooms, downstairs - a washroom. Between Friedrich Nietzsche, Fernando Pessoa and their washtub, the thoughts of a professor from Portugal are wandering while she is trying to master the German language to the sounds of music from the next room. On the occasion of the 2nd Biennale for New Music in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, musicologist and dramaturge Hans-Peter Jahn realized his interpretation of Lachenmann's song cycle, in which he gave the »Godlessness« of the material an absurd scenic expression.
