THE (VAN) BEETHOVEN GAME is a show. It is a game. It is a story. After starting with Mozart and continuing with Rossini, this “Game” format meets one of the greatest musicians of all time: Ludwig van Beethoven. A complex figure and immense musician, marked by real pains and unusual obsessions—above all the uncertainty over his own date of birth, which became a constant fixation. “My baptism certificate is wrong!”, he would shout to friends and would‑be biographers. On stage we see anecdotes from Beethoven’s life, his private relationships, his own writings, and the memories of friends and fellow musicians—but above all we hear the music and the poetry of the great Master’s voice.
