for his first opera, the composer Philippe Leroux approaches a literary work that is as mythical as it is mystical: The Annunciation Made to Marie by Paul Claudel, whose work, inseparable from his Christian faith, revisits the figure of the Virgin. An opera in world premiere that summons an infinite poetic space: all our senses will be awakened between the sound worked by Ircam (Institute for research and acoustic/music coordination), the richness of the timbres of the Cairn ensemble, the voices soloists experienced in the writing of Philippe Leroux and the subtle scenography inhabited by landscapes of Claudel's native Tardenois that the director Célie Pauthe offers us.
