The annual students of the Opera Academy have been given a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in bel canto this autumn. Bel canto is an Italian singing style that means 'beautiful singing', and it demands both technical skill and emotional depth from the singers. The students perform excerpts from the operas *L'elisir d'amore* and *Anna Bolena*, both by G. Donizetti. *L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love)* is known for its beautiful music and humorous plot, while *Anna Bolena* is a more dramatic opera. It will be an evening of drama, humor, and beautiful singing!
