Towards the end of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Constitution, there are many reasons to produce what can be called Norway's liberation opera. Hans Nielsen Hauge - in the form of Johannes - is central to the history of Norwegian society, and had a great influence on what in 1814 was to become Norwegian democracy. As a visionary, with a willingness to take responsibility and lead, even if he encounters opposition to what he believes in.
