Another of the many operatic gems of contemporary Italian composer and Milan native Marco Tutino (1954), whose one-act play La Lupa (The She-Wolf) was successfully staged in Ostrava a year ago in the Czech premiere. Opera Vita, which has so far only premiered in the year of its creation - May 9, 2003 in Milan's Teatro alla Scala, is a free operatic-dramatic adaptation of the American film "Wit" ("Wit / Common sense") by Mike Nikolsz, which deals with the theme dealing with terminal illness in the lives of our loved ones. Staged in the Italian original.
