A coproduction between the Centre Lyrique de Tours and the Baladins Lyriques, this 1969 staging of Philidor’s comic opera Tom Jones featured stage direction by Raymond Vogel, overall set and costume design by Jean Maillot, and metal set fabrication supervised by Christian Dupuy. The Grand Théâtre orchestra performed under the baton of Francis Balagna.
