A ballet for children and families inspired by Carlo Collodi’s The Adventures of Pinocchio, this production from Opera Națională București uses choreography to bring a puppet world to life. The staging emphasizes the gestures and motor language of marionettes, with music underscoring movement and character. Colorful costumes, humorous texts, and parable-like episodes guide young audiences through Pinocchio’s journey. The focus is educational and playful, highlighting the difference between positive and negative choices. Direction and choreography are by Valentin Stoica, with scenography by Viorica Petrovici, presented in partnership with Teatrul Muzical Ambasadorii.
