Andreas Beinhauer takes on the role of the quick-witted bird-catcher who guides the audience through Mozart’s most famous opera in this version. In the Opera House’s Foyer 2, children are close to the action and are invited by Papageno to take part — as a tree or a snake, forest animals, or the children of Papagena and Papageno. It is a colorful and musically high-quality experience, and a wonderful first encounter with music theatre for preschool children.
