A four-act dramma lirico by Giuseppe Verdi. This production was presented as part of the summer series "Summer Reggia Opera Festival" (also known as "Notturni in Musica alla Corte della Duchessa") in the historic gardens of the Reggia di Colorno. The July 5, 2016 performance was recorded live. Stage direction was by Eddy Lovaglio, with scenic elements by Maurizio Zaccardi.
